Hello everyone,
I am currently a Canadian High School student who resides in Vancouver. I want to go to UBC for an engineering degree (haven’t decided on type quite yet). I am part of the IB program and have a predicted score of 46 with 7 subjects (I took Bio as well as the normal six). I also gave SATs and got a score 2050. However, I don’t have alot of extracirricular activities. All I can say is that I have FIDE rating of 1450 and am the leader of a 4 person chess club at school. I also act as a teachers assistant to help other fellow IB students with Physics, Math and Chemistry. I also speak and write fluently in both Farsi and English and am semi-fluent in French.
What do you guys think my chances are for UBC, U of T, McGill, or UCLA?
