What are my chances for UC davis with REALLY low sat reasoning and no subject test!!

I have 4.00 gpa this year and 3.85 last year which ranks 56 out of 551
I have only take one AP class and honors class this year which is AP chem and Analysis honors. I have completed the a-g courses

Sat reasoning:
Critical Reading 440
Math 500
Writing 360

Extracurricular/ Awards: filipino and japanese club, honor roll freshman year, and that one award in junior year where you have maintained 3.80 gpa

Community service: only church office work for 10 hours=/

I can still take the subject test on dec 5 and acts on the 12 but I'm not guaranteed a seat cuz i missed the deadline>.<
and the scores are due somewhere on december:(

What are my chances?:(

zero…sorry

retake the SAT (practice it first…take one of those SAT prep courses)

940 would have been almost a zero chance 30 years go. two years ago a friend of mine with 1280 got admitted to Cal and rejected from Davis.

Ah that sucks>.<
so december 5 testing is my only hope?:(

i kinda messed up on the reasoning cuz i was afraid of getting deducted for wrong answers so i left most of em blank-_-

theres also the acts on dec 12

I think you will be rejected if you have no SAT subject scores.

They’ll only reject it if you dont finish it before senior year.
I’m planning to take it on dec 5 as I said cuz i would be able to send the scores before they start reviewing the applications in january.

though im not sure if they’ll have available seats>.<
i’ve called the testing center and no one is picking up=/

merced could be a match

possibly
but is there anything else i can do to increase my chances?:frowning:
other than hope for dec 5 test?

Try the ACT if you can. A lot of people that have trouble with the SAT seem to do better on it. That’s from personal experience mind you, asking people I know.

I missed the deadline for the last one for december
Again Ill be on standby for a seat

Can anyone share their experience with standby testing for california? either SAT or ACT.

thanksgiving bump

ok update i took sat II:
Chemistry
Math II
Literature

took it last saturday, turns out they do reserve test for standby testing in SJ delta college:)

Now i dont think i did too good on all of em especially literature i ran out of time and werent able to finish atleast 20ish question on all of em-_-

20 questions… No offense, but that’s just bad test taking.

Yikes…no offense but those are REALLY low SAT scores…definitely play up the rest of your application to Davis (esp. the essay!!). I would definitely give the ACT a shot if you can; I wasn’t that great at the SAT but I did decently on the ACT. If you can, find some sort of SAT/ACT tutoring thing in your area.

Well its my first time and its kinda sudden so i didnt have time to prepare=/
k here are the results for subject test:
Chemistry 600
Literature 510
Mathematics Level 2 590
I did that UC eligibility total thing and got 259 uc score total
It says a gpa of 3.45 and above has a minimum of 143 so is this a good thing?
