Good evening! I am currently a junior and I would like to know my chances at UCF.
Here are my stats:
Major: Undecided as of now, Hopefully Nursing
GPA: 3.5 UW (Hoping to get to a 3.6 by the end of this semester) , 4.35 W (Hoping to get to a 4.4 )
Core GPA : I have no idea how to calculate this, so I’m guessing maybe a 3.7-3.8 range. I’m not sure.
Classes:
Freshman year- 3 Honors, 1 AP (Human Geo)
Sophomore: 3 Honors, 1 AP (AP World)
Junior: 3 Honors, 2 AP (AP Bio, APUSH)
Senior year: 4 Honors, 3 AP (AP Stats, AP Psych, AP Econ)
I have so many honors courses because of my magnet program which designated them in the school of Florida as honors courses.
By the end of senior year I’ll have 7 AP’s, 13 honors.
SAT: 1130/1600 (CR: 620, 510 M. My first test, took another one hoping better score soon.)
ACT: 24C ( 30 R, 25 E, 19 M, 23 SC) Sucks, I know but also my first test. I’ve bought multiple test prep books and a tutor program so that hopefully my score will increase for the next ACT, which is the test I prefer.
I’m in a competitive magnet school, I’m currently in the top 12% but I’m working my way up to top 10% of my class.

Chances?
majority of my classes have been honors or AP besides algebra 2 that I was placed in wrong my sophomore year. I still has passed with 100%.
Your chances are decent. You’ll want to bump up the test scores a bit to be sure.
^I agree with @Trisherella
@Trisherella so, say I raise my ACT score to a 28 or 29, how would my chances be then?
Bump.
Then they would be excellent, Awe3some1.
Your GPAs are very similar to mine, but my scores were a tad bit higher and I got in for fall 2017. You have a good chance. Keep up the good work!
