You seem to be a very qualified student, your courses are impressive. Your EC’s are also decent. Are you in state for Virginia? If you are in-state, I would say you would have a good chance. OOS is super competitive and I believe your ACT would be on the lower end, and so I would name UVA as a reach. I believe your chances at NYU to be decent and even higher if you consider applying ED. Your stats seem to be on par with the school. I do not know enough about UCLA or UC-Berkeley to provide insight. Best of luck!

I recently visited UCLA, as well as Berkely etc. The student guides that took us around talked about how their friends had gained entry. They said that some students did not have the HIGHEST marks for entry, but were accepted because in their letters of application, they had put a lot of thought into why they wanted to attend that school and how they would contribute to the community/success/culture of that school. Food for thought.

Sounds like you have a pretty good chance at all the schools you listed. Your grades are very impressive and scores as well.

Well for UCB and UCLA they calculate your GPA based on 10-11 grades only. Considering you have a 4.0 UW and something well above a 4 weighted in that category that will look very good to them. Your test scores are about the average for an admit to those schools as well. UVA you should be competitive. (I’m unsure what state you live in, but either way I think you are a competitive applicant.) NYU I would be surprised if you didn’t get in. If it means anything to you, I got into UCLA, NYU and wait listed at Berkeley with stats that were slightly worse than yours. (Similar test scores but not as good of a GPA)

So I will say
UC Berkeley: High Match
UCLA: High Match
UVA: High Match
NYU: Match

UVA is insanely competitive oos. I would say its a reach. LA and Berk are high match. NYU is a match.

Sounds like you have a pretty good chance at all the schools you listed. Your grades are very impressive and scores as well.
