What are My Chances for UCLA, UCSD, and UC Berkeley?

Hi, I'm currently a high school junior and am wondering what are my chances for UCLA, UCSD, and Berkeley? Here's my summary

Freshmen Year: GPA - 4.0 (All Honors)
Sophomore Year: GPA - 4.5 (2 APs, 3 Honors)
Junior Year (Currently): GPA - 5.0 (5 APs, 1 Honors)

I've taken as many AP/Honors classes as possible. I took French for the first two years of high school. I finished AP French in sophomore year. I haven't taken the SAT yet; I plan to take it this March.

For extracurricular:

about 300 community service hours so far from tutoring at local elementary schools, SHARP medical center/hospital, school, clubs

French Club Secretary (2005-2006) and now President

Academic League

COSMOS 2005 at UCSD alumni (<a href="http://www.jacobsschool.ucsd.edu/cosmos/%5B/url%5D">http://www.jacobsschool.ucsd.edu/cosmos/</a>)</li>

Summer of 2006 Intern at the Birch Aquarium/Scripps Marine Research Institute at UCSD

SAT Scholars Program at USD

For this summer, I plan to intern at a Biomedical Research Institute in San Diego.

I think this covers most of my experiences/activities... there may be a few I forgot to add, but these points are my most significant ones

Oh yeah, I'm a California resident. Thanks!

Your GPA is very good but it is difficult to give chances without having SAT (or even PSAT) scores.

Assuming your GPA is a good indicator of your SAT score (2100~2300 on I, 700+ on IIs), I would say you're in at all the UCs, since you're instate. Of course, as sfgiants said, a lot of the admissions process includes SAT scores, so be sure to score well! Oh, and just cause we say you're "in" at these schools, don't blow off your essays, or you will get rejected ;-)

yes, statistically you're a great applicant, just hit a 2000 (2100 would be even better) but you will be in. However, do not blow off your essays. Do not come off as haughty or arrogant in your writing and don't send them crappy essays because they might take that as arrogance as well. But 2k, good essays, and you should be clear admits to all the UC's.

UCB/UCLA: Safe Match
UCSD: Safety

You're in everywhere. Unless one of those UCLA squirrels run off with your application.

Wow. Flopsy's on a roll today.
