What are my chances for UCs and USC? Please chance, I'll chance you back!

<p>I had a pretty bad freshman year because of personal issues..I got a 3.0 GPA
Soph GPA: 3.5 (3.7 weighted, I took Chem H)
Junior GPA: 3.5 (4.5 weighed, I took APUSH, AmLit H, Bio AP, Precalc H and Spanish 4 H)
Senior Course Schedule: AP Lit, AP Spanish, Gov/Econ, AP Calc AB, Physics H
AP Tests: 5 on USH, 4 on APBio
SAT Score: 2090 single setting (730 crit reading, 650 math, 710 writing), 2170 best score (800 crit reading, 660 math, 710 writing)
SAT II: 800 Math II, 720 USH
Took a comp sci class at my local community college, got an A, and going to take a renewable energy class next year
ECS: 230 hours volunteering in a hospital, taught/TAed at my sunday school, member of NAHS for three years, secretary last year, VP this year, i've learned music since i was seven, internship at my father's renewable energy company
i live in Cali (affects UCs)
I know my GPA isn't perfect..but what are my chances? I promise I'll chance back</p>

<p>You’re right about the GPA thing. However, your SAT/subject test scores do make up for it. You definitely have some solid ECs too. Especially your work at the hospital/internship. I think you have a good chance at most of the UCs except for maybe Berkeley and UCLA. As for USC, you stand a good chance as well. For Berkeley and UCLA, I think your essays and recs will be your “make it or break it” point.</p>
