UC GPA (weighted): 4.3
SAT Scores: 1310 || 670 English and 640 Math
ACT Scores: C29, 35E, 25M, 26R, 30S (first try)
C31, 35E, 27M, 30R, 33S (second try)
AP’s Taken: AP World [3], APUSH [4], AP Biology [4], AP Gov, AP Psych, AP Calc (school has a limit of 3 AP’s for juniors and seniors and 1 AP for sophomores)
Extracurriculars:
- Interact Club President [400 community service hours]
- Interact Club Publicist
- Tutor at Kumon Learning Center
- Rotary Youth Board Representative
- Rotary Vietnam Project Media Coordinator
- Key Club Member [50 community service hours]
- Sociology course over the summer
- Internship at mental health center
With UC applications due soon, I’m not sure if I should retake my ACT for a better score by the October test or focus on my UC PIQ instead. Would the ACT score suffice when taking the whole application into account?
