I am going to be a high school senior and am very interested in UCSD.

SAT score: 1970
GPA (weighted): 4.1
(unweighted): 3.8
SAT subject scores: (may retake/ take new ones) US history: 590, math 2: 640
APs: european history- 3
chemistry- 3
US history- 3
calculus AB- 4
English language- 4

UC GPA? ECs? Awards? Are you OOS? Can you afford the OOS fees? Test scores not on par. Reminder that UC requires you to send in your entire testing history.

My UC GPA is a 4.1. Extra curriculars: ballet (3 years) , bbyo (jewish youth group) (3 years), UNICEF club (2 years), mentoring program in school (1 year), national honor society (1 year). What is OOS?

What is your intended major for UCSD? SAT subject test a bit low.

I your SAT score is a little low. UCSD doesn’t admit by major so that doesn’t matter.

I am a California resident. I am undecided but looking at the sociology department.

Just curious about major since OP did not take any science subject tests. Average SAT score for UCSD last year was 2018. Expect to see it higher for this years in-coming Freshman class.
