I got 2 c's this year, in honors spanish 5 (year long along with AP spanish...is an honors class this semester, but is taught at the ap level) and ap environmental science, but i think my unweighted gpa will be a 3.38 or 3.3 and my weighted will be a 4.42 or 4.38 by the end of the year. I am in nhs, have played piano for 10 years, have danced for 10 years, teach piano (started myself...leadership i hope), am the vice president of a culinary club, volunteered at duke hospital for 6 weeks, and will volunteer at unc hospitals this summer. I have gotten a bronze presidential award and a mayors award for volunteering. I did a volunteer/internship thing alongside an ophtalmologist in India and will take a trip to Spain with a school group to advance my Spanish this summer. I am also in the top 20% for my school ranking. I just took the SAT for the first time, and bombed it, (1600) but i got a 28 on the ACT and will retake and only send that score (i'm hoping to get a 32 at least). I think my college essay will be wonderful (i'm a good writer), and i will have great teacher recommendations (spanish teacher said she'll talk about my c to b transformation). Do you think I can get into UNC CH?; it is the school i really really want to go to...been my dream since fifth grade, but State is my second chioce :) I live in state! My gpa has decreased in unweighted...now i will have a 3.38 or 3.3) will colleges not like that i have not "improved" although i've been taking super challenging courses every year? Freshman year: 4 academic, 4 honors.....................8 A's
Sophomore year: 7 honors, 1 AP.............................3 A's 5 B's
Junior year: 4 AP, 4 honors..................................
3 C's 5 B's (I predict)

Senior year i am taking 4 ap's, 2 honors, and 2 academic....so altogether, 9 ap classes in hs. I'm an indian female who lives in state btw!
