What are my chances for university of Florida

<p>I've always dreamed of being a Gator and have worked my butt off to get in. Now that dream seems so far away. What do you think my chances are. 4.395 gpa, 3 ap classes, 4 dual enrollment. Student government secretary sophomore and senior year, varsity soccer two years, club soccer 4 years, all honors society. President key club and SAAD. Leadership conferences and 250 service hours. My test scores aren't the greatest, 28 ACT. Do I even have a chance? I really don't want to be a Nole and out of state is not in the budget. Thanks</p>

<p>I think it will be a low match to a reach. I would try to get really good recs and essays. Also try to interview if possible. Are those the only EC’s you have?</p>

<p>My unweihhted is 3.95. Other ec’s. National honors society, math honors society, science honors society, history hs, English hs, rotary youth leadership, Sunday school teacher, various volunteer work such as hospital and ronald McDonald house tutoring all adding up to 323 hours. student ambassador… Between student government, 15+hours a week at soccer and all my other activities, I don’t know how many more ec’s I could fit in. I have excellent revs but Florida won’t take them. Should I interview with admissions? Do I just go meet with someone? They don’t take appointments though. Thanks for all the advice</p>

<p>Oops, excuse the spelling. I sent it from my cell phone. Anyway, I think my essay was really good. My AP English teacher critiqued it and thought it was a very strong essay. I thought my grades and EC’s were all strong but the test scores too low. Does anyone know if you can get in with a 28 ACT? Thanks so much.</p>
