I am a high school junior at a top public high school in Pennsylvania and I was wondering if I had a chance if getting accepted to UGA, UGA is probably my furthest reach college I will apply to. My GPA is roughly a 3.7 unweighted in only the core classes (only ones taken into consideration for UGA). In 9th grade a took 3 advanced classes (APs and honors not offered), in 10th grade I took one honors and one accelerated class (APs not offered), when I am done graduating I should have one more honors class and 5 AP classes in addition to the classes I listed. I have yet to take the SAT but I scored an 1800 on the PSAT this fall. I also played one year of AAU basketball, play high school volleyball and 2 intramurals. At my school I have co-founded a club that I am the president of with 30+ members that work to collect books to start a library in Sierra Leone. Replys will be greatly appreciated!

You need to know how to spell “Georgia.” And it’s not possible to get an 1800 on the PSAT…did you mean a 180?

That said, UGA is probably eager (as most state schools outside of the UVAs of the world) to get OOS students who can pay full-freight…so that will be in your favor…and your stats are solid.

thanks for the insight, and whoops Georgia*!

bump bump bump

You really need to take the SAT first and finish your junior year to get an accurate assessment.
