Dude only 1570… smh… you’re effed. Just go to a state school tbh. And you started a club, that’s too mediocre. You need to do something like start Spacex or your own unlicensed architecture firm. Sorry dude better luck next life

With your excellent test scores, solid GPA, challenging course load, and reasonable-sounding ECs, you stand a fighting chance of admission at each of the schools on your list–assuming, of course, that your essays and recs are up to snuff.

Though it is best to regard all the schools you listed as reaches, I think you should feel pretty confident about CMU, and I also think the odds are good that you will gain admission to one or two of the others on your list.

You might also want to consider applying to Cornell, with its strong Architecture program. You would be a very strong candidate there.

Thanks for your response.

Other than the popular ceramics, screen printing, and maker classes, Caltech has very little in the way of art classes and no architecture. They list some art history classes in the catalog, but I don’t see that they were offered last year. The main art outlet would be painting murals in the house (dorm) hallways and designing sets and t-shirts for the house activities.

CMU has different admissions statistics by college. If you are applying to Engineering, that is not a safety for anyone.
