What are my chances for UPitt?

Hey guys! I am currently a junior in high school and I am looking to apply to the University of Pittsburgh. I am an out-of-state student and am looking to go into pre-med.

I am expecting to have around a 4.15 weighted GPA as well as a 1540 on the SAT. I took the Math 2 Subject SAT and scored a 800 as well as the Biology SAT and scored a 730. I have been playing varsity tennis for all of high school, I shadowed at a doctor’s office for two years, and I volunteered for over 200 hours at a nearby hospital’s Operating Room. I have also earned first place at my school’s science fair and plan to do a neurology research project during the first semester of my senior year.

In terms of classes, I have taken 5 AP classes so far as well as one post AP class. I plan to take 5 more AP classes during my senior year. Any input would be awesome. Thanks.

What is your unweighted GPA? Your test scores and curriculum look strong and in line with what lots of accepted students posted. If your UW GPA and rank are as strong as the rest I would venture a bet that you might also be in line for some merit.

Hey! My UW GPA is a 3.6 but my school doesn’t calculate class rank so I’m not sure what it is.
