I don’t know how to talk about myself without relaying narcissistic tendencies, regardless I’m currently attending community college in hopes of transferring to Texas A&M or University of Texas-Austin. I graduated highschool in 3 years and I was homeschooled my 3 years of highschool. I understand the negative stigma of being homeschooled when applying for colleges, due the system lacking academic competition I.e. Class rank. However I graduated with a 4.06 accumulative GPA. I didn’t take the SAT because I was planning on attending community college mainly because my homeschool program didn’t offer SAT prep courses and I didn’t want to incriminate my college resume with low test scores. As corny as it may seem 5 weeks into my first semester I have a 3.54 college GPA, I understand that freshman year is generally easier than others… I plan to fill my application with volunteer hours. I’m curious to know what my odds are to get into UT, or A&M’s communication schools.
