What are my chances for Vassar, Oberlin, Bryn Mawr, Bard, & NYU?

-I'm a junior, Hispanic girl living in Maryland.

-So I had a pretty bad freshman and a slightly better sophomore year and my GPA ended up being a 3.6 (unweighted) for these two years. I am having an amazing junior year so far and my GPA will probably pull up to a 3.7-3.75 by the end of it.

-I am in no APs, my school only offers science APs to seniors. (Will this hurt me?)

-Although there are no APs in my school, my school offers an "advanced" class for a few subjects which I have taken. These classes have been geometry, Algebra II, Pre-calc, and Biology. I didn't take the chem advanced class and am pretty glad I didn't because that would have definitely hurt my GPA.

-I took the SATs for the first time last month without studying and got a 1860. I know this is really low but I'm planning on seeing a tutor to bring this up.

-4 years of middle school volleyball, 2 yrs of high school volleyball, 2 years on a travel team
-2 years on my school's tennis team
I could not participate in any sports this year due to a herniated disk that is taking forever to heal.

Extra:
-Diversity Club
-Young Democrats Club
-Blue Gold Club (deals with Special Olympics)
-Baking Club
-Lit Page
-Scholastic Art and Writing Awards Honorable Mention for photography

I will definitely be putting together a portfolio with my application to colleges.

So I'm just wondering what my chances are for these colleges... I know they are like slim to none but I was just curious to know how far off I am. Thanks!

I know a girl who goes to Bryn Mawr. Not sure about all of her stats, but I know her SAT score was incredible and she was top of her class. She’s also British. I would recommend raising SATs to at least 2000. Also work on your GPA and you’ll have a chance. Fair warning: this girl I know–she’s also pretty crazy. Like insane :stuck_out_tongue: Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1616335-chance-me-and-i-ll-chance-back.html
