What are my chances for Wharton ED?

I’m currently a senior at a rigorous private school that’s top 20 in the nation. I know that i’ve posted a chance thread before, but I really wanted feedback from matriculated/prospective Penn students.

Actually, I am planning on applying to the LSM program early decision, with a dropdown to Wharton (which is also binding/early decision). I am not expecting to get into LSM, so if you could focus on my chances for Wharton specifically that would be awesome!

Applying for financial aid

Intended Major: Economics/Business

Id say you have an excellent shot to get in. As for your stats id say they’re near perfect; in this case i think the deciding factor of your admittance will be mostly based on your comparative race and your essay.

I’m too from the Texas area of Plano. How did you get a paid finance analyst internship here, networking?

Actually it was with a firm in Houston and I had a connection with one of the lawyers that worked for the firm. So I was very fortunate to stumble upon that opportunity.

@texas1418 very good chance for LSM and for any other program, major, school at Penn. You have nothing to worry about, your profile is almost perfect. Especially if you are not Asian, your chances are extremely good. (even if you are asian you still have very good chances but the competition is gonna be more intense)

@Penn95 thanks for taking time to comment and for your encouraging words!

bump…also forgot to put this leadership position down on my initial post, but I was elected as class VP for senior year

Update: I was accepted into Wharton ED!! Hope this thread can help some aspiring Penn students!

I also want to apply for Wharton and I am Chinese…your profile seems more than perfect to me.
:frowning: if all wharton students are like you then there’s no chance for me to get in,
