<p>I know people that the chances for transferring to Yale are very small for any applicant.

Here are my stats (High school GPA was not well).

W-4.2
SAT- 2250 (CR-700, M-800, and W-750)
ACT- 34
SAT Subject- Biology- 770, Chemistry- 780, Math- 770
College GPA- 3.92
Pre-med Track
ECs
Conducted research at Emory University's Institute for Drug Development (sphingolipid modulators and malaria research) and Center for Artificial Photosynthesis.
Participated in Yale's BIOstep program and published a paper through their biochemistry department. Collaborated with researchers in developing a new point of care assay in order to detect the hiv virus and the biomarkers of the virus. I developed a new program in Africa which develops solar panels for schools and new public health projects.
I am particularly interested in going to Yale because of their linguistics program in the area of Eastern African languages and I am also interested in their pharmacology program. I know the essay is the most important part. I am also aware that they also accept 2-3%
I am also interested in MIT, John Hopkins, Duke, Northwestern, Emory, Vanderbilt, and Cornell. Thank you for your help. I know my chances are small but how much weight do they put on a persons high school GPA and transcript?
