WHAT ARE MY CHANCES: freaking out about getting into these

Hi, I am a female freshman in high school and I am thinking a lot about college. I want to know my chances of getting into UNC of Chapel Hill, UVA, Wake Forest, or College of William and Mary.

I go to a top-private school in Texas (so my chances out of state), and this is all without multipliers.

English- B+
Spanish II Honors- A-
Physics- A
Geometry Honors- A
Global Studies I & II- A
Speech and Debate- A+

I run Cross Country and track, I do very well in it, and I have broken district records a few times in my events for track. Although I really do not want to do running in college, I just want it to help with my extra-curriculars for getting into college.

I also do at least 30-40 hours of charity work a year because I am in National Charity League.

I am also in a few clubs at my school, and I am in Symphony Belles (a program with the symphony in my town).

I am not in a leadership programs but I will probably be next year because I am going to run.

I also want to know what my chances are for a scholarship at any of these school (even though they are hard to get into).

Thanks so much, I know I am thinking of this early but I just want to know. And I know I am going to raise some grades later, but I have just been having some serious things going on in my family.

I think your chances are really good. Your grades are amazing, even with that B+, and you go to a top private high school, Keep your grades at all A’s (maybe a B or two), and have strong test scores, and I think your extracurriculars are great. Start looking at study materials for the ACT and SAT now just to familiarize yourself!

It is really to soon to chance you at this point in time. You are doing well so far, keep up the good work. Just a few pointers:

I really wouldn’t worry about SAT/ACT at this point in time. You will do much better as you learn more advanced math and english and get more familiar with it by experience.

Try to differentiate yourself from the competition EC wise. You have a very solid base so far, but you need to do things most others will not. Try sky-diving.

Youre on the right track, just try to keep your GPA high and get at least a 2100/31. also join clubs that pertain to your interests or passions.
