<p>With brutal honesty, unless your parents, uncles, or some relative of yours can guarantee Columbia like, 50 million dollars if you enroll over there, I don't think you're gonna make it in.</p>
<p>SAT scores are generally not going to be a sole deciding factor for any post-HS institution, but two 550's and not within top 10% rank (at a non-feeder school I assume) is seriously pushing it if you're going Ivy... The two 550s will put you probably in the bottom 5-10% in the historically accepted applicant pool, but people in the bottom 5-10% are generally VIPs, developmental cases, etc.</p>
