That’s only a few of my ECs from my resume, what do u guys think, any advice or comments is helpful, Thanks!

You're in but I'm sure you already knew that.

you think i got a good shot? is that what u meant,

You are going for LSA right?

Based on my knowledge I wil say you are in..

sorry what do umean by LSA?

wait... is that the science school there? Im gonna guess the Liberal Sceince and arts?

then yes, if that is where u go for premed

Many engineers are also premeds, so its not just LSA.

you can be in CoE for pre-med???(Then dont you have to major in some kind of engineering?;;;)

Is it more advantage if you are in CoE instead of LSA when you apply to medical school?

I though pre-med ppl go into LSA...

i thought that too,

maybe what ccrunner means is thats for the students u either want to double major or dont no what they want to do yet

Firstly, premed is not a major. It is simply a set of courses one must take in order to be eligible for medical school (your basic prereqs - Bio, Chem, Orgo, Physics, Math). You are allowed to major in anything you want. I am a premed Chinese major.

Secondly, medical schools LOVE engineers. Engineers major in any type of engineering they want and apply to medical school so long as they have taken all the required courses and many are successful.

I think you would be accepted at whichever you apply to. If you aren't particularly interested in engineering, I'd suggest sticking to LSA.

That's what I'm getting at. What you study really has no relevance. You can major in absolutely anything you want - engineering, language, history, woman's studies - and you can get into medical school as long as you excel in the required courses and extracurricular activities (shadowing, research, etc.)

Oh I meant he could get accepted to LSA or CoE, but yeah I agree with that as well.

And remember - there is a certain amount of grade forgiveness for Engineers when it comes to medical school admissions.

thanks guys

I have a friend whose name is Omar that goes to Michigan
