I am in love with the city of Boston. I am very interested in BU.

I should also mention my strong desire to enter the field of politics and government. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

GPA is good, but ACT is a little low. The range for BU 26-30. So raise the score to a 29+ and you will be a solid match.

Bump ump ump

You’re solid. GPA’s excellent, you’ve taken challenging courses and you have a variety of ECs. Your ACT may possibly be low, but even I got in and I had a lower score than you.

Thanks! I’ll be taking the ACT for the last time in Sep so hopefully I can improve. I’ll also be taking the SAT October so maybe I’ll do better on that. Thanks again for the opinions.

You look pretty solid. I have a 26 ACT and have similar grades and ranking, and people are telling me I should be fine.

Bumpbumpbump

You have a 27 composite with a 27, 27, 32, and a 29? I am confused! Other than that, even with a 27, you should be fine! Make sure to emphasize your clear interest!

Chance me back!!!

Those were just the highest scores I’ve gotten on different test dates. My superscored ACT is a 29.

BU doesn’t superstore but you look fine. Chance me back?

I know. However, I asked admissions and they told me they consider your top scores in on the sub categories

Oh okay well it’s along the same lines. Are you interested in poli sci?

Yes I am!!!

Same here. Also history and or IR. Hope we both get in and I’d appreciate if you look at my thread too!

I’m also thinking about philosophy. That’d be great if we both got in. If I get in I’ll try to tell you haha. And sure, I’ll look at your thread.

Yeah that’s a nice idea. It’s weird how similar our stats are.

Im still nervous about being accepted though…is BU your first choice?

Yeah pretty much. Penn state is close but I love BU. I’m nervous too. I want o apply ED but the cost could be too much.

Yea I really would like to go to. I’ve been to Boston but didn’t get the chance to visit the actual campus so I wouldn’t want to do ED incase there’s some hidden reason why I wouldn’t like it.

Just visited last Friday. I really enjoyed it.
