What Are My Chances? IB Student

<p>Hi, I am an IB student from Norway. UT Austin is one of my choices as that I am planning to do mechanical engineering. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any prediction to whether i will get accepted.
My current IB predicted grade: About 41 points
My strengths: Math and Science subjects
SAT Score: 2190 (800 math)
I am one of the five best high school math students in the country, as I am representing Norway in an international math competition in November.
Also played the violin for 10 years and not too bad at it.</p>

<p>Anyone know if i can get it? I know the out of state acceptance is like 5% so...
I am also applying to Berkley, Caltech, MIT, and Cornell but those are hard I know so i dont expect anything really</p>

<p>The out of state thing is really bad. I live in TX and people get accepted into UT Austin with a 26 on IB and a 2.9 GPA. Kinda unfair. Cornell seems like a pretty good shot with the rest being reaches.
