what are my chances if...

my gpa is lower, (not below 3.0 but i dont want to say) but...

i've taken 9 ap's and 7 honors classes in four years of school

currently taking ap art histry, ap environmental science, ap gov, ap english lit. and student government (if you are in student gov. at my school you have to take the class)

gotten 5's and 4's on all of my ap tests

sat I: 2050

sat II: lit-760 bio-730 us history-710

ec's: student government for three years, hold executive position as business manager, JV dive, Symphony Orchestra 3 years, class council 4 years (3 as treasurer), Key club 2 years, SOS club 2 years as secretary then VP. easily 300+ hours of community service.

had excellent recs and great essays.

i realize my gpa will be a really negative part of my whole package or whatever, and in my defense, and i know this sounds like i'm lying out of my bum, but i really did take classes that i was genuinely interested, not just to boost my gpa (except for math, which was a requirement).
but does anyone even think i have a shot?

What school are you thinking of applying to? I’m guessing CAS. I think that you would have the best shot if you were to apply to Gallatin. Gallatin looks at you as a person, rather then just rejecting you at first look because of your GPA. I think Gallatin is more likely to take in extra consideration for your essays, recs, and extra currics.

Personally, I think you have a shot. My best friend’s older brother got into Amherst, which is one of the toughest colleges to get into, with a 3.3 GPA and EXCELLENT essays, recs, and SAT scores.

I got into Gallatin and I have pretty much the same numbers as you. except for AP and SAT II grades. My GPA is around 3.2 so don’t start freaking out. Either CAS or Gallatin would be a good fit for you. Gallatin if you do have an amazing essay. The essay I wrote was one of the best essays my AP Lit teacher and my English tutor ever read. Creativity counts for a lot.
