What are my chances, I'll chance back with a link

As of now, I'm a junior in high school working towards getting into a strong undergraduate business school.

My top choices are

UC Berkeley
Illinois Urbana Champaign
Michigan Ann Arbor
Brown
Northwestern
University Of Chicago
Carnegie Melon
Duke
Emory
Notre Dame
NYU

As of now, my unweighted gpa is a 3.8.

My SAT score is a 2250 with my math and reading together being a 1560.

My class rank is 9 out of 118 (about the top 8%).

The school I go too is a part of the New Tech foundation. They emphasize a new type of approach where students are familiarized with an authentic work environment. Our work centers heavily around presentations, professionalism, becoming acquainted with the uses of technology in today's world, and of course normal high school content. I took one ap class freshmen year and the rest honors. I took all honors classes sophmore year and now 3 aps and the rest honors junior year. When I graduate, I will also have 40+ hours of experience shadowing people in their jobs. This program was implemented to give us a visual view of the real world.

My extracurriculars mainly are:

First robotics competition ( spent 100+ hours building a robot that will be capable of playing a sport like soccer on its own and when controlled)

National Honor Society

My school's debate club (we frequently stage in school debates)

A community service project involving the restoration of Reagan Wells Ranch.

I volunteer at a food bank consistently

I volunteer at a children's hospital consistently.

I know my extracurriculars are paltry so after my First Robotics ends, I plan on taking a part time job then getting an internship over the summer.

So with these credentials now, what are the odds that I could get accepted into any of the undergrad programs of the above listed business schools.

And to clarify my sat scorewise was CR- 790 M- 770 CW- 690. Also, on my ec’s section, I forgot to list 40+ hours of shadowing people in various jobs although I did list it in my explanation of new tech.

Bump, just a nervous junior guys.

haha, don’t be nervous. your stats look very good. I’d say you have good chances at all your schools except maybe UChicago because they’re pretty big on uniqueness and ECs, and your ECs are good, yet a little common. good luck!

[chance me back?](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/866589-chances-columbia-again.html)

Thanks for the encouragement. It really helps. Anyone else care to weigh in?

Update, for a part time job, I’m probably working at a tutoring center helping kids learn

Your chances are excellent for all of those schools except Brown which is a low reach and Duke which is a high match.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/868043-help-chance-c-pre-calculus-junior-year-help.html</a></p>

Your chances are a high match for all schools except UC Berkeley but only because I assume you’re an out-of-stater (not from CA)…it’s not as difficult for ppl to get into CA but significantly harder if you’re out of state.

Chance me please: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/867114-chances-number-one-school-wustl-please.html</a></p>

Wow, I think you could get into any of those schools, great stats, maybe the only tough one could be Brown.

Could you please help me out :)

bump, anyone else :)

I’d say you have a good chance at all of your schools except for maybe Brown which is almost always a reach and UofChicago because of you ECs, which has already been said. good luck! I think you’re a match to NYU stern.
