I have applied to 12 universities. Four of them are UC schools (in order from most desired): UCSD, UCSB, UC Irvine, and UC Davis. My state schools are (in order of most desired): SDSU, SFSU, Cal Poly SLO, and San Marcos. My common app schools are (in order of most desired): USD, Vassar, and NYU. And the last university I am applying to is Georgetown-my reach school.

From the 12 that I have listed above, I want to badly get into USD, Vassar, NYU, UCSD, and of course Georgetown. I am okay with getting into even one of these schools to be honest

My stats are:
GPA: 3.81 (weighted)
Rank: 80 out of 501 (top 16th percent)
SAT I: 1540
SAT II: US History:520, Literature: 530
EC: Girls basketball- 3 years, AVID club officer- 3 years, Volunteer at a retirement home-3 years, Church school teacher-4 years, Youth group leader- 2 years,
AP test: World(2), USH(3), Lang&Comp(3)

I know that my GPA and SAT don't stand a chance at schools like UCSD, Georgetown and lord knows what other school I have listed, but my school is ranked in the top 15 schools in California if it makes a difference. I have also been told by many of my teachers to at least apply to reach schools that I've dreamed of attending because I may have a slight chance of getting in.
