Hey guys, I feel kind of stupid doing this because it probably gets old with everyone posting their stats and all… but I’m bored and stressing a little bit over these apps. BC is one of my 2 EA schools, here’s what I’ve got, be honest with your opinions.

White/Northern New Jersey/Highly Competitive Public School

GPA: 5.42/5 (weighted, tops is 5.82 I think)
Class Rank: N/A
SAT: M 790 R 630 (1420) W 740 (2160)
SAT II: His 670: Chem: 640 M IIC: 750
EC: 4 years varsity golf (2 time state champ team), 4 yrs deca (state finalist 1 year), 100 hrs community service (working in the library/teaching voluntary junior golf clinics), 2 summers internship at financial firm, 1 yr physics team, 1-2 yrs random worthless clubs (chess, spanish, etc.)
Honors: national society of high school scholars, who’s who among american high school students, honor roll/all that good stuff
8 AP classes, 4 english 3 history
essay/rec… completely subjective

good chance. "whose who among american high school students" is bs lol sorry. its not to offend you i just think they're a stupid organization... they send it to everyone. anyway your gpa/sats arent bad. goodluck

No, I agree, it is bs... just needed it to fill up space on the common app..kind of lacking in the "academic awards" section... biggest disappointment is no NHS, had a problem with one of my teachers who was able to get me rejected.. so I'm hoping the grades/SATs will be enough for BC but if not I have another slightly easier EA school (Villanova) that I wouldn't mind going to at all if I got into it.

i dono why she didnt do it but it really is no fun LOL for me, they're all school bakesales/high school open houses/pta conferences... blah blah yuck.

I didn't do it because I didn't feel like it. I'm not going to do community service for the hell of it, just so I can maintain membership in an organization.

If I'm going to do service, I'm going to volunteer for something I genuinely care about.
