<p>so i’ve had lots of highs and lots of lows in high school. i’ve moved a lot, to different parts of the world, and sometimes i would have no friends and yeah, it sucked. and yes, my grades were affected. </p>
<p>but it was my fault in the end. if i hadn’t been depressed, i would’ve gotten better grades for sure. but i don’t have anyone else to blame for my grades b/c in the end they are the grades that i earned. </p>
<p>basically, take the criticism. it seems clear that you can’t handle anything negative said about you, but you will need to learn to listen a bit. it sucks, but you can’t get SO defensive. just focus on what you CAN do in the FUTURE, now what happened in the past.</p>
<p>After reading this whole thread, I think this fellow’s messing with us. If not, Cheshire_Cat, go to vo-tech or whatever and make way more money as a mechanic than all of us will make in the next ten years, and more than many of us will ever make.</p>
<p>class rank of 513 out of 547 with a 2.0 is not right unless u go to a highly competitive school which u would have written if it was so</p>
<p>the last approximately 50 ranks are around 1.0 or people ready to go to adult school because they just give up or are ready to transfer to other HS because they’re too stupid. CC this is not your actual stats and just admit that your just wasting all of our times.</p>
<p>Actually AOTP, that WAS my class rank and gpa last year. You can’t possibly think that your speaking for ALL school districts in the world when you say that ‘‘the last approximately 50 ranks are around 1.0 or people’’ : Don’t speak for my school district, because you don’t know if my school district enforces this (but it’s pretty clear that it doesn’t) let alone know what school district I’m in.
So keep it up. Keep up making lame excuses. I realize that maybe blaming the depression was stupid, but you really can’t speak for my school when you say **** like that, AOTP.
BTW, it IS a competitive school, and most of the kids do well, but, if you don’t live in PA, then you won’t know the school I go to.</p>

<p>cheshire cat- unless u have some criminal record, i recommend just going to ur local CC. Do your work there, and try to transfer after two years. If no 4 year colleges accept your transfer application, then get a minimum wage job and work there for the next 40 years of your life.</p>
