What are my chances in getting into one of these schools?

I’m an uprising senior who’ve taken the SAT twice already. First time a 1300 in December then a 1440 in March (680 V and 760 M). I have a 4.0 GPA, 800 in Math II and plan on taking the physics or Biology SAT II in October. i do also plan on retaking my SAT in August, hoping to get closer to a 1500+ if i can get my math to a 800 and english 700+. I’m in all the honor societies, co-founder/vice president of my school’s math team, have work experience in a hospital shadowing doctors and nurses, in a boys varsity team, and other extracurricular activities.

the schools im considering to apply to include:
boston university
all 8 IVY schools except Dartmouth
NYU CAS
Stonybrook
Northeastern
UC
Hunter MacCauly
Brandeis
Fordham
Vanderbilt
Johns Hopkins
and Buffalo University

what are my chances in getting into any of these schools? (goal is to get into an ivy but NYU and Northeastern is a hope too) lmk and any tips when applying too?

What can your parents afford? Are you instate for the UCs?

tuition cost isnt rlly an issue for my family and im from NY if thats wat u wanna know

All of the Ivies are very different. Given your SATs, the Ivies will all be reaches. Northeastern and JH will be tough. Good for Stonybrook and Buffalo. Top UCs are also reaches.

Fir Ivies and JHU, the score issue is the V. You don’t need a change in the M. In fact, if the V needle doesn’t move, an 800 M is no bandaid.

Honor societies, a “founder” title, shadowing-- not tips, not bad but not the sort of ECs a tippy top wants to see. Try to put more effort into learning what these colleges do want.
