Hey, I am currently an eighth grader wanting to go to PEA as a freshman. I was just wondering about my chances in going into Exeter.
First of all, my dad works for the military and has been stationed in Korea my whole life, and therefore I go to a school on base. I heard that a lot of prep schools like diversity, so I guess this fact helps at least a little.
I had a 4.0 GPA all my life and I am trying to keep it up for my eighth grade year.
Extra Curricular Activities:
Student Council (vice president)
National Junior Honor Society (a group of honor kids who do a lot of community services)
Violin (5 years)
Piano (7 years)
Volleyball (2 years)
Chess Club
Math Counts
School Ambassador (2 years)
Korean (fluent, can read and write)
I did not take my SSAT yet, but I think I can get a 90 or higher. Also, I need financial aid.
I scheduled my interview during mid November, and I think I can manage to do a good job.
I am still working on my essay, and my teacher recommendations would also be pretty good, since I never really cause any trouble or anything.
Thank you!
