I have a strong undergraduate academic record, 3.6/honors, undergraduate thesis.... my bachelors degrees is in health services administration. I graduated in summer of 2009, I started a graduate program in healthcare informatics right after graduating that fall semester and unfortunately I did not perform is well as I did and undergraduate. I failed to courses although I received a and B's in the remainder of the courses that I took... my graduate coursework grade point average is it 2.3-2.6, somewhere around there. I was placed on academic probation however I voluntarily left the program after realizing that it was not a good fit for me and that I was not going to be in healthcare. I really want to get back into graduate school MBA program add that is more in line with my career. I have been doing research on Nova Southeastern University and they have a program with a concentration in human resources however I am concerned that my graduate grade point average maybe it disqualify me from being admitted. The admissions requirements simply state they would like a great point average of atleast 2.5 in undergrad... I'm just concerned that they might not think I have academic potential for graduate school... any case like this would be undergraduate grade point average be weighted more heavily or would the Graduate coursework grade point average be the determining factor? I know that I'm freaking out about this but i would like my application to be a strong as possible considering my circumstances. the GMAT is not required UNLESS the undergraduate grade point average is below a 2.5. What do you think my chances are?
