Hopefully I can Major in Biomedical Engineering but as that's a hard major to be accepted into, I might put down another major and then switch after accepted to college. All help is really appreciated. Thanks so much.

Flopsy's view is a bit optomisitc, there's the bad news, well the good news is that you do have a good chance at all the UCs because of your excellent test scores. Anyway your GPA is not all that bad, don't buy into that hype that you have to have a 1550+ and 4.0 unweighted to get into Cal and LA. Your test scores are well above the average of those 2 schools even if your GPA is a on the lower side. If you manage to write a good essay that reflects your personality and your thirst for learning you'll be in good shape.

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach/Match
UCD/UCI/UCSB: Match
UCR/UCSC: Low Match
UCM: Safety (Garaunteed)

I think you have a great chance at Cal and UCLA, just don't count on getting in. Don't fret to much, you'll get into somewhere good, you've worked hard and done well. Good Luck.

I don't give chances, but in case you didn't know; you can put down a major for each UC, AND some even require you put down an alternative major (which would be a good idea w/ a major that's difficult to get in)

haha rate my chances please! i'm scared lol. i know that the apps are over but still tell me my chances.. an update, i got 770 math IIC and 720 writing and 720 physics. my essays are also all pretty good so yeah. PLEASE!

i also put work experience on the application for few jobs with respectable hours as well as filled up the awards category. any comment is appreciated. thanks flopsy and teal and zoso for ur input.

3.6 huh..well i think its more like dis..well this is my opinion
UCB: reach...man..dis school..u never know
UCLA: reach/match
UCSD: Slight reach
UCD/UCSB/UCI: Safety
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Super Supuh dupuh saftey

I'd guess you'll maybe get into UCSD but not likely Cal or UCLA. Great scores, but the UCs care about GPA more than other schools. (99% of Cal and UCLA admits are in the top 10% of their class)

You will have a problem with biomed with your GPA. My son faced this and chose to do two years at a cc to get the major at UCSD. Do not for a second believe you will be able to just switch into the major. Talk to each school to see if there is any chance, It almost impossible at SD.
