Good GPA, average SAT, decent rigor, decent EC’s

Plus the fact that you’re in-state, you’ll be fine. UW ain’t a safety for you though so write good essays.

Should I take SATs for a 3rd time in September?

I’d say with that gpa and 1280 sat score UW is definitely a safety
The only thing that might look bad is the CR score, but again the math balances you out for a very doable 1280.

You’re in, no question.

If factors such as race and sex are not considered, you should not have to worry too much because I am an Asian female with very similar stats and I was accepted this year. (NOT to be arrogant, but I wasn’t panicking–I was actually expecting an acceptance letter.) As long as you have a unique + well written essay that well describes you, and only you, your admission process should not have too much trouble.

But in case you are still nervous, here is something that will calm your nerves :)

My stats I applied with:
GPA: 3.75/4.0 (unweighted)
SATs: 1840 was my highest but I entered every single score including those in the 1500s and 1600s. I also submitted my subject test scores-although it was unnecessary-which were below 600. -_-
Extracuricculars: piano, key club, honor society, tennis, volunteer services.

You may think that is plenty but notice how all are pretty typical ECs that any would/can participate in. You should to get involved with more activities that standout.
Essays: I wrote one about my disease and how it influenced my career-related goals and changed my character. I can’t remember what I wrote my second one on… Sorry!

Notice, how I appear VERY average. So, I must have stood out with my essays. I utilized lots of imagery and alliteration hoping that it’ll be firming embedded in their heads at the end of the day.

Good luck! Don’t be too nervous–it will end soon

it’s always safe to apply to a bunch of places : )
but…i can’t see why you won’t get in, with a decent essay (no obvious grammatical errors, answer all the questions asked)

i was a transfer from an instate cc,
high school gpa: 3.98
college gpa: 3.97
EC’s: nothing lol : )
volunteer: barely anything, i don’t think UW thinks i have any
SAT: 1740
and i got in, so i think you will be just fine

Is this for real? Lol, you’re in.
