<p>you need to list awards and accomplishments, which is more important than leadership. I've talked to a MIT alum before, and he told me MIT doesn't care about people who cares deeply for their surroundings or others. Technically, if you want MIT, you have to be a "self-person"</p>
<p>tell me some major awards you got, competitions you won, and something (in state, national, or international level) that set yourself aside from the rest. MIT likes students who are strong outside of the school.</p>
