What are my chances into these Cal States?

Hello everyone,
I’m very interested in these schools:

UC Riverside
CSU Dominguez Hills
CSU Long Beach
CSU Fullerton
CSU San Marcos
CSU San Bernardino
Cal Poly Pomona
Prospective majors: Biology and/or Business Administration

Here are my stats:
Eligibility Index= 4044
UC/Capped GPA= 3.68
SAT= 1100 (plan on retaking 2x more)
EC: girls varsity soccer 9th grade, daisy chain for 3 years, college club 1 year
I also have a strong volunteering history and multiple awards for various subjects. I would have taken 5 college classes by the end of my junior year + 4 more during senior year.

THX GUYS!

I think you can get into CSUDH, CSUSM and CSUSB.

CPP/CSUF and CSULB will be much tougher but if you are within the local service area for one of these schools, your chances increase.

UCR will be tough since your UC GPA is below the average of 3.82 and your SAT is close to the 25th percentile.

You have a compiled a very balanced college list and you will have many choices come spring. Best of luck.

I think you’ll make it into all of them.

Good luck

What about UC Santa Cruz, University of Oregon, Arizona State University and UC Merced?

Thank you again I’m just very anxious…the time to start applying is quickly creeping up on me

UC Merced: Very possible
UCSC: 50/50
ASU: Yes a Match
UO: Very possible
Also I forgot about Cal Poly Pomona but I think it will be possible.

With the out of state schools, run the Net Price calculators to make sure they are affordable.

Also here is a link for the Cal states with average UC/CSU GPA capped weighted, test scores and some Eligibility index thresholds:

Based on the link you provided for the CSU’s, are those average GPA’s weighted or unweighted?

They GPA should be the CSU capped weighted GPA listed since that is what the CSU’s use for admission purposes. Also this is 2017 data and for many campuses just like the UC’s, the 2018 numbers will probably go up.
