What Are my chances? Low GPA, good SAT

I've had decent grades for most of my high school life, until my first quarter this year (junior). I was extremely over packed with sports, work and studying.

My weighted GPA 3.3 (including first quarter)

I don't want to say I'm some genius with no effort , but I've always been good at everything I'm done, and I think the reason that I got my butt kicked this quarter was my lack of doing homework studying.

My extracurriculars

2 year Varsity soccer athlete - Member of my schools first ever sectional winning team (AA NYS, one of the most competitive leagues in the northeast)

2 years work experience as a busser at one of the best restaurants in upstate NY, an authentic Italian Restaurant. Have served such celebrities including the Jackson Family, Alec Baldwin, and Coldplay.

I'm sure there's more that I could list, but I'm in a rush.

Will graduate with 6 AP credits

3 in History
1 in Science
1 in elective
1 Spanish

5 Years Spanish ( which I've heard can help my case)

I know that if I put my head to it, I can get a pretty good score on the SAT, and I'm going to work very hard to reach my goal of a 1350 (which I know I can do, got a 94th % on the PSAT)

So assuming

3.3 Weighted GPA
6 AP credits
1350 SAT

Could I get into these colleges?

Duquesne University
Old Dominion
Louisville University
Washington State
Depaul University

Also, I've heard that declaring your major helps, and I am planning on declaring as a finance major.

Thanks a lot everyone, and please mention anything that I could do to boost my chances. Maybe summer courses at a community college? Anything would help.

Yes.

10characters.

I’m from Chicago. I know you could definitely get into DePaul, because I know two kids who got in with a 25 and 27 ACT. And I guess that equates to lower than or equal to your SAT scores? They might not give you too much aid, though, considering you’re out of state too. Aren’t there good schools closer to you?

There are definitely good schools close to me, Suny Binghamton is a short drive, as well as Suny Albany.

I’m looking for a good college experience though, and I also want to be somewhat far from my house. I want to experience. a new way of life

Also, I’m considering enrolling in a UHS ( university high school ) course at suny Albany. I imagine that would help, right?

If you mean 1350/1600 then all the schools are safetys. Goodluck chance me back plz

If the 1350 is for CR and Math exclusively, you should get in to those schools without question.

People please chance me back:

So is it safe to say, that even with my bad GPA I could get into these schools if I get a 1350 on my Math+CR?

Yes, it’s pretty safe to say you’ll get into those schools with 1350 CR+Math.
