So I’m a high school senior, and I applied regular decision to 13 colleges over the past semester, and I’m getting slightly nervous watching other people get acceptance letters from Grinnell already, so if anyone could give me a little insight as to my chances of acceptance at my top three schools (or any of the top 40 Liberal Arts colleges) that would be very much appreciated!
GPA: 3.756 (unweighted, freshman through junior year, 4 AP classes)
AP Scores: AP Bio: 3 AP Lit & Comp: 5 AP Euro: 4 *didn’t take the exam for AP Physics, but received a B+ in the class
High School Extracurriculars: National Honor Society, Student Mentor, Marching Band / Symphonic Band, Co-president of Quiz Bowl, Girls’ STEM outreach program leader and founder, Philosophy Club, Mental Health Club, World Food Prize (selected to attend the highly competitive Global Youth Institute last fall), advanced to state at the National History Day competition, selected for PEO scholarship candidacy.
ACT: 32 composite (would have been 33, but I had only a 29 in science)
SAT: Not submitted with application, but 1410 total.
I was accepted to St. Olaf last week and it’s a good place, but something about Grinnell and Macalester makes me lean slightly more towards them.
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions people have!
