Well here we are in February and I am going crazy because I still haven’t received an admissions decision from my #1 school, the University of Texas. I JUST WANT TO KNOW.
Anyway, I am graduating Summa cum Laude, have a 102 GPA and my rank is 121/687 (I got B’s my freshman and sophomore year then I stepped it up junior and senior year and got all A’s in all AP classes). I have A LOT of extracurriculars (dance colonel, many clubs, NHS, and more) and I feel I have strong essays and rec letters. My SAT is 1970 and ACT 30. Also, I feel I should mention that I am Hispanic (sue me, but I’m saying it). But, because my rank isn’t absolutely FANTASTIC, do you think I can still be accepted? Also, feel free to throw out any random information you have about anything relating to UT acceptance/rejection.
Second question- is UT still offering the CAP program?
Lastly- have people already been receiving rejection decisions at this time? Or is everybody that’s going to be rejected going to receive it all at once?
