What are my chances of admission as a transfer student? (University of Michigan)

I’m currently a freshman at the University of Michigan-Dearborn who wants to transfer to Ann Arbor for the Fall 2016 term

My ACT is a 27
My unweighted high school gpa is a 3.5 or 3.6. Weighted high school gpa is a 3.9
I was waitlisted when I applied as a senior.

I have a 4.0 for my first semester, a recommendation letter, and excellent essays. I’m also involved in several organizations.

From what I heard (but cannot be absolutely sure), if you are a transfer student, your high school stuff doesn’t matter anymore. They care more about how you did in college. You need to prove that you can be a good college student, which you did.
