Your Stats are pretty much a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Your volunteer work also looks great, especially since Penn is very involved in the West Philly Community. Youve showed some dedication to your extracurrics and I think your chances are as good as anyones! Chance me back? =P http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/812675-p-third-power-last-chance-before-i-hit-submit.html?highlight=power

thanks. and i posted on your thread

Good ec’s, good SAT, good grades. . .you seem to be lacking in the awards category but that shouldn’t be a huge deal. If you were to have asked me this question a week ago, I would have said that if you get good rec letters and write good essays, you would probably have a 7/10 - 8/10 shot at CAS. Now though, after the ED round, I don’t trust my old methodology for chancing. This year decisions seem to be more eradic at all schools than usual; kids with perfect scores are being rejected left and right while kids with stats hovering barely above average seem to be getting into the most selective schools in the world. I peg it all on abnormalities due to the economy, but nevertheless, I would say that despite your amazing stats it’s all up in the air. Best of luck to you though

thanks for the reply
