What are my chances of being accepted into Georgetown University?

Hello,

I am a junior in high school and I would love to attend Georgetown. My grades are currently all A's. I have not taken many AP/Honors courses but by graduation I will have taken 3 AP courses. Both of my parents went to Georgetown for their master's degrees and my grandfather helped develop the master's program. Does that help my chances at all? I have lived overseas, am conversant in French, have been involved in many missions trips, play varsity football, and volunteer at a nonprofit organization called the International Justice Mission. Do I have a good chance of being accepted with these extracurriculars, a 3.7-4.0 GPA, and a 32 ACT? I would greatly appreciate your opinions and any tips!

Thanks so much!

You need to take more AP classes because 3 is quite small. I’m also hoping to apply in the Fall, and I’ll have taken about 6-7 by that time.
The legacy will help you a lot though.
Is the GPA unweighted or weighted?

Just write really great essays and you should be fine.
