What are my chances of being accepted to ED for Yale?

Yale is my dream school, I am a junior and plan to apply ED next year. Let me know what you think my chances of acceptance are:)

GPA: 4.10 (UW)/4.89 (W)
SAT score: 1510
6 APs to date (passed all tests) + 5 next year

EC:
Fellowship with a Medical School (I work around 20 hours a week with residency students at the different clinics)
President of the Psychology Club
Tutoring a student once a week through the Pay It Forward Club (which I am the secretary of)
VP of the Careers in Health Club
Member of the NHS Executive Board (Next year I’ll be the VP)
Mentoring middle school kids in costumes and makeup, which I design for our school plays (I make around 200 volunteer hours a year doing this)
Captain of my IEA Equestrian Team

I also play tennis, organize a TED Talk expo at our school every year, belong to almost every Honors Society, and am a National Merit Scholar Finalist.

Let me know what you think:)

I’ve also taken four college level psychology courses:) Thanks!

you are not a finalist yet.

Sorry semi-finalist you’re right, thanks!

You are aware that Yale does not have ED?

Yale has a single choice early action program, which I was referring to

@ner546 You downgraded your NMF to NMSF, but since the state score cut-offs for class of 2018 semi-finalist status won’t even be released for another three months, aren’t you still a bit premature in declaring yourself to be a semi-finalist? If you want posters to take the time to answer your query, perhaps you should take the time to post accurate information…

@nerd546 SCEA and ED are different; also, how is your UW GPA above a 4.0?

There is a significant difference between SCEA and ED, so take my motherly advice and be sure to figure out whether or not the schools you apply to have one or the other. Also, SCEA rules can be very different at schools so carefully follow what protocols they have listed on their websites or you may put your application in jeopardy.

Yes, you’re a qualified applicant but so are the majority of applicants at Yale SCEA. When it comes to elite universities no one can really be chanced. All you can do is put time into your application and present yourself well. If Yale is still your first choice come October then apply SCEA but later apply to some other reaches, matches and safeties RD and hope for the best.
