<p>I am a freshman at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. My major is nursing however, I want to transfer to UCF as UNM's Nursing program is near impossible to be accepted too. I am also following a Pre-Law/Poli Sci track and UCF has more courses relevant to those majors, too. UCF received all my test scores and last week I sent all of transcripts. About how long does it take for a transfer to get accepted and how competitive is it?

My HS GPA was a 3.8 and i took at least 2 honors/AP Courses EVERY year with a B average in all.
My first semester college GPA was a 3.43
I know the deadline for transfer applicants for Fall 2011 is July 1st but i figured I might as well start now.</p>
