what are my chances of being admitted to Northwestern?

volunteer/club/sports activities: hospital, NHS (officer), Tri-M, cross country (3 yrs), math team, chamber strings, library, future healthcare professionals program at a nearby hospital
ap classes: total of 8 ap classes
senior courseload: ap bio, ap gov't, lunch (hah), honors physics, orchestra, calc ab, ap english</p>

<p>Well, great scores take you only so far. There’s a tendency for people on here to overlook the two vital factors: your persistent and committed relationship to something outside of school and your supplement essay.</p>

<p>Judging by your information as listed above, I really don’t see an overwhelming amount of dedication to anything. Maybe there is and you refrained from posting it. But if not, that typically causes problems. If you do, however, have some commitment to something, work that angle as much as possible.</p>

<p>As for your supplement, make sure to spend a lot of time considering whether it’s original, personal, and genuine. These essays are their best look at you as a student and as a person, so be detailed and thorough with it.</p>
