I'm part of a student activities committee this year

My intended major is theatre. Think I have a chance of getting into any of the three campuses I applied to? I heard it's almost impossible to get admitted if you're from out of state. I do meet all of UC's requirements for out of state applicants, though.

Since you are OOS, you will pay $55K/year to attend a UC with little to no financial aid available. Can you afford this?
UCSD: Low Reach/High Match
UCD/UCSB: High Match

SAT below average but GPA very competitive. Good Luck.

Thank you for your input!

As long as I maintain a certain college GPA (I think it’s a C average), my Native American tribe will pay full ride for my education. SO grateful for that!

Your SAT scores are low and the UC’s look at that. I don’t know if your tribe will cover you as an OOS applicant unless the tribe shares a border with California.

My daughter is a first year theatre major at ucsd. She squeeked in with a 1910 sat, 28 act and 3.91 unweighted gpa and international baccelauriette diploma. I think it is a stretch for you. For theatre if you’re not at ucla or ucsd you’re better off somewhere other then the uc system. Cal State Fullerton is a better choice for you. The undergrad academic rigors of ucsd are not to be underestimated, particularly if you’re at Revelle.
Update: I have been admitted to UC Davis and UC San Diego (have not heard back from Santa Barbara yet), but I will be attending Willamette University instead
Good luck to you and congratulations on all your acceptances. .
Another update: I got admitted to UCSB too
