What are my chances of Early Admission or Regular Decision?

Hi, everyone! I was just wondering what my chances were. I’m planning on applying for Fashion Merchandising at UGA.

GPA: 4.09 weighted–on the UGA conversion, I apparently have a 4.04. Not sure if I did it wrong, though.

AP: 2 (APES & AP Lang), taking 3 next (senior) year (Psych, Macro, French), so 5 total

SAT score: 1950 (8 on essay, 680 W, 570 M, 700 R). On my first SAT, I got a 9 on the essay (not sure if you can superscore solely the essay, but still.)

EC: DECA member for three years (planning to join again), competed twice and am planning on competing next year,
NTHS for one year so far,
BETA for two years so far,
will join NFHS (didn’t qualify because of the level of French I was on),
was invited to NHS but didn’t make it
will join & compete in FBLA

So…what do you think? Am I good enough? Or should I just transfer in like most will?

Oh, and this is a stupid question, but if I don’t qualify for EA, should I apply again for regular?

you seem to be in the middle 50 so i think you have a good chance! i know that UGA only counts core and AP/IB classes for their GPA. you can be deferred for EA and put into the regular admission pool, so i dont really see the need in applying again. check out the first year information on their website. good luck!
