So I sent everything in today for my application (I know a little late) for the University of Arizona. The deadline for housing is on March 1st, and only if you apply before then or on March 1st are you guaranteed a dorm room to live in. I know a lot of you probably aren't from Arizona but maybe you can possibly give some insight.

I called the Res. Life department today and obviously they never have any idea for sure but I did talk to the manager and he said after the deadline there should be a percentage of how many dorms have been taken and it'll be updated daily. However, how long does the process usually take until they accept me or not I know the letter is sent out and takes around 15 business days for it to arrive at you current residence. They told me I could call at the end of the month and basically see if I have been accepted yet and if so, I could drive down to the college and get my information (log-in, etc) and pay for the housing department then.

So in short, what do you think my chances are of getting a dorm if I don't get my letter back until 1-3 weeks after the deadline? On their website it says about 20% undergraduate students live on campus and they house around 7,000 people so that is something that could maybe help you guys out in answering this.

Thanks so much for your guys' time, it's much appreciated.

I know I posted this in another topic/thread but I just really want a variety of answers so sorry if that annoys people.
