I am not sure whether I am In or out of state. I have a 3.6 GPA and I have taken 3 AP courses. I have a 620 on SAT math, 510 on Reading and 560 on Writing. I am in Stuco and NHS and community service and basketball. If I am in state, what are my chances? If I am out of state, what are my chances?

how are you not sure if you are instate or outofstate? either you live in texas…or you dont, right?

what is your class rank? that is what your acceptance depends on if you are in state. your SAT scores will not get you accepted if you are out of state though

I would not recommend applying as an “undeclared” student, because, at least if things are the same as when i applied last year you are automatically considered for an undeclared major. For example, if your first choice college was business, & 2nd choice communications you would first be considered for business, if you were not accepted you would then be considered for communications, if you were not accepted you would then be considered for undeclared liberal arts.

as far as getting in, for in state it is really all class rank- are you top 8%? if not then chances are truly slim. out of state you might have a little better chance, but even so, it will still be difficult.
