Gender: Female
Race: Asian (Not Chinese or Japanese)
Location: Midwest (form a VERY affluent area although I do not satisfy that stereotype and I'm kind of the minority in both wealth and race in my area)
GPA: weighted- 3.713; freshman- 3.33, 3.4; sophomore- 3.5, 4.167; junior- 3.75, 4.0; I believe this semester I should get a 4.15 (I know my GPA is very low. I am going to take most of the blame but I must add that my school has a very hard curriculum.. our AP Biology and AP Chem averages on the AP Test have been above 4.5 for the past five years)
ACT: highest composite- 27; math- 33; science- 30; reading- 25; english- 26; writing- 11; (again very low, my fault for not prepping.. I was convinced I was going to Fashion school..)
Rec. Letters: i believe they are good because I am close with my teachers that I have asked but I have not read them myself so
Notable Classes: AP English Lang, AP English Lit, AP Psychology, AP European History, AP Human Geography, AP US History, AP German, AP Calculus AB, AP 3-D Studio Art, AP Art History, and AP Biology (the rest are honors classes due to restrictions my school has on grades and/or because we have required classes that aren't all honours or AP)
Writing: I think my essays are well-written and are inspiring. At least, they were a huge revelation for me simply writing them.

EC-
-4 years of high school gymnastics, 6 years of gymnastics before high school
-6 years of dance before high school
-3 years of Track and Field (started sophomore year)
-4 years of piano, 4 years of violin, 5 years of viola, and 4 years of guitar
-art: creative writing, glass, ceramics, jewelry, metals, fabrics, fashion design, fashion garment making**.. (i have not taken a formal instruction with 2-D arts such as drawing and painting; however, I am above average but nowhere near exceptionally talented in these arts) * indicated emphasis
-3 years of german club, part of the honor society, leadership position in club
-joined three clubs this year; one entirely new and the others I joined to branch out on my interests and friend groups and also because I have allotted more time for these opportunities
-community service- honestly my memory is faulty; relay for life volunteering every year, some for a club, some w/ friends.. I don't record any of it because I believe that I do not need to because the reward is already in itself.. so I don't have an accurate count
-religion- it's complicated. i've been on some church retreats but I have not played a huge role in my local churches; i've been catholic -> agnostic -> "aetheist" -> agnostic -> now I really want to discover more about myself spiritually and I think that Pepperdine would be the optimal university to help me discover more about my faith; this is something I really want to do.

hmmmmm those are what I can think of right now so obviously those are my more passionate activities

i have had some fall-backs with injuries and concussions and i have had severe struggles with my internal self which I could go on and throw some terminology but that doesn't matter now because I believe that I am stronger and happier and more appreciative and loving of myself and the opportunities I am given everyday.

I know my GPA and ACT are not in my favour but I am interested in Kinesiology, Pre-Medical Studies, German, Biochemistry or European History (leaning more towards Kinesiology) and there's a slight Fine Arts possibility (my parents aren't encouraging of the arts) Should I submit an art portfolio anyways? regardless if I concentrate in that or not? would it increase my favourability? I know that GPA and ACT are the hugest componnents which are already pretty locked in but what could help my application?
