I recently applied to UCF as a transfer student for fall 2012. I will have roughly 28 credits after this spring semester and a GPA of around 3.5. My High school GPA was a 3.2 and my SAT scores were Reading 370 Math 610 Writing 460. In high school I played football and baseball, and I currently play baseball for my college.

I am currently attending Daniel Webster College. 4-year private institution.

Are you currently a freshman? If you are, your high school record is quite important. Did you take a challenging curriculum with Honors and AP classes?
Your college GPA of 3.5 is quite good. However, your SAT scores are not.

Average UCF SAT Scores
SAT Critical Reading: 580
SAT Math: 600
SAT Writing: 555

I am a indeed a freshman. And I didn’t take rigorous courses. My GPA in high school would’ve been much higher had I not moved in the summer before my junior year.

And I’m not expecting much my chances to be high because of what I did in high school, but I’m hoping to be one of the lucky few that gets in with the GPA and scores like my own.
