*I have a 27 ACT composite (English: 30, Math: 27, Reading: 26, Science: 24)
*Enrolled in NHS, Band, and UIL
*Top 1.5% of my class (5/ about 400)
*Enrolled only in Pre-AP & AP classes (Passed 4 AP Exams)
*(Texas resident with Mexican background)
(Also, can anyone tell me some scholarships that I could receive?)
Your class rank is great, and you’re automatically admitted to UT, however pet. engineering will likely deny you with that ACT.
I still have at least one more shot; what score shout I aim for?
Petroleum engineering is extremely difficult to get into at UT. I didn’t personally apply there but I would guess you need a 30+ to be competitive.
